Nidhi’s Aim and Objectives

Charitable institutions are formed for the purpose of charity to help those who need help in education, healthcare, shelter, food etc. Such institutions act as a link between donors and persons in need. Such institutions flourish if they do good work or till the needs are alive. They vanish or die if the purposes for which they are formed no longer exist or the management of the institution is corrupt for lack of selfless volunteers. Good Samaritans from Bardeshkar community felt need to provide financial help to poor students from the community way back in 1914 i.e.106 years back. Twenty four persons contributed a bit and helped three students for the first year in 1914. The institution grew since need to help poor Students remained till date and also mainly because the  institution (Bardeshkar GSB Nidhi) was Voluntarily and selflessly managed for over last  108 years. Over the years, the Nidhi undertook several other good activities like monthly pension like assistance  to poor senior citizens, Financial assistance to needy to cover  hospitalisation expenses, prizes to students and puraskars to eminent bardeshkars in recognition of their achievements. The institution is all along blessed by donations of people of Charitable minds.

Membership of such institutions is an acknowledgement of the good work done by the institution. It allows institution to reach broader space among the community. It also give three cheers to selfless volunteers of  the management. For persons  becoming members, it gives satisfaction that they are contributing for a  good cause.  To many mental satisfaction is far greater and is not measurable in terms of monetary value.
